Rearcross U-10's played host to Nenagh AFC 'C' last Saturday and turned in a strong performance to record the win. The opener came in the 6th minute following an own goal, the Brickfields side were also pressing, however Sean Malone and Paul Nolan defending sternly to keep the visitors at bay. Stephen Rochford playing the captain's role made it two nil to home side with a well struck effort midway through the half. Stephen Rochford was in the action again three minutes before the break with another good finish. Rearcross made a strong start to the second half, but came up against a competent display from Nenagh custodian Darragh Ryan who was dominant throughout. Cathal Kennedy made it four nil midway through the half with a clinical finish from in front of goal, Nenagh AFC didn't throw in the towel and Eoin Sheldon was well positioned to clear off the line two minutes later. Cathal Kennedy got his second of the outing after a clever lay off from Patrick Dawson and then Patrick Dawson got on the score sheet two minutes from time after keeping his composure to slot home with a low drive.
